What We’ve Done: St Andrew’s Presbyterian, Manly

Open Box Technology was recently engaged by St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Manly to install a projector and screen in their beautiful church building on Raglan Street.

We installed an large format NEC projector and a motorised Screen Technics screen. The projector is mounted to the side of the church and the screen is secured unobtrusively at the side of the stage. The projector is a 6700 lumens projector with a lens to suit the size of the screen. An HDMI transmitter plate is secured in an appropriate location near where the source computer will be, allowing signal to be transmitted via cat5 cable. A control panel located next to the transmitter plate allows the motorised screen and projector to be controlled without needing the remotes for either device.

I would recommend Nick Utber, and the team at Open Box technology to anyone. They did a superb job! Ranging from the professional advice, prompt quotation to the installation and excellent training. The whole experience was helpful. In addition, the technology has been well received and is so useful in the context of our Church. It’s my hope that many other Churches in our situation will avail themselves of the new technology and the services of this wonderful company.
